The Minor Irrigation and Groundwater Development Department is responsible for planning, designing, construction and maintenance of minor irrigation and groundwater development works in the state. In order to create separate cadres and recruitment rules, fill the necessary staff from within the department itself, and complete development works at a rapid pace to achieve specific goals, Govt order No: ಸನೀಇ 361 ಎಂಐಎಸ್ ಯು 2023 dated 28/05/2025 was notified.
As provided in Rule 2 of the said notification, those officials/staff members of PWD/WRD who are interested in permanently joining the Department of Minor Irrigation and Groundwater Development may fill in the application form, within 45 days (including all the holidays) after the Govt order No ಸನೀಇ 361 ಎಂಐಎಸ್ ಯು 2023 dated 14/11/2025 is published in Gazette Notification

Special Note:

  • Officers/employees who are promoted under the Rule 32 and working on independent charge will need to enter the seniority number of their original cadre.Whereas, those who are promoted under the Rule 42, will need to enter the seniority number of the present cadre only.
  • All details shall be entered as per the Service Register

  • Only applications submitted online will be considered. Any applications submitted in person/physically will not be considered.
  • Each individual needs to Register and Login to fill the form. Please save your login credentials safely. The details of the same are given below.
  • An option to Preview the Draft of the Application is provided before submission.
  • You will receive a copy of the application submitted by you to the email-id provided by you.
  • If you want to modify your submitted application, you will need to login and delete the previous submission. Fill the entire application afresh.
